Data Network Infrastructures Limited (“DNIL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of everyone who visits dnilsolutions.com (the “Website”), including prospective employees who apply for a role through our Careers page.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you. It applies to every page of the Website, including Careers, Contact, and our general information and services pages.

This Policy is written to comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023 (“NDPA”) and the regulations of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (“NDPC”).

By using the Website or submitting information to us, for example through the contact form or a job application, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

Information you give us directly:

• Contact form (Contact page): name, email address, phone number, organisation (where provided), and the content of your message.
• Job applications (Careers page): name, email address, phone number, CV or résumé, cover letter, work experience, education history, professional certifications (for example Cisco or other technical or professional credentials), portfolio or LinkedIn links, and anything else you choose to include in your application.
• Any other information you send us directly by email to info@dnilsolutions.com or careers@dnilsolutions.com.
• Collected automatically when you browse: IP address and approximate location, browser type, device type and operating system, pages visited and time spent on them, the site that referred you, and cookie identifiers and similar tracking data (see section 12).
• We do not knowingly seek sensitive personal data, such as health information, religious belief, political opinion, or similar categories recognised under the NDPA, through this Website. Please do not include such details in the contact form or your job application unless it is directly relevant and requested, for example information needed to support a reasonable accommodation.

This section states what the code does, in addition to what section 3 describes. The contact form on the contact page collects the fields below. First name, last name, email address and message are required; phone and company are optional. Each field is trimmed and truncated to the length shown before it is sent.

The form also includes a hidden field named “website” which is never shown to you and must stay empty. It exists to reject automated submissions. Submissions are rate limited to five per minute from one IP address.

Your enquiry is validated and rate limited on this website, and it is not sent to any third party service. No email provider, customer relationship system or database receives it.

Delivery has not been configured yet, so the form shows its success state and sends nothing at all. This section is generated from the site's own configuration and will change automatically on the day delivery is switched on.

Applying for a role collects the fields below. All four text fields are required, and a CV file is required.

The CV must be a PDF, DOC or DOCX of no more than 5 MB. The file's contents are inspected, not just its name, so a file renamed to look like a PDF is rejected. As with the contact form there is a hidden anti-automation field and a per-IP rate limit.

We use your personal data to:

• Respond to enquiries submitted through the Contact page.
• Review, assess, and process job applications, and manage recruitment communications.
• Verify qualifications and, where an offer is made, carry out reference checks with your knowledge.
• Keep applicant records on file for related future vacancies, where you have consented to this.
• Operate, secure, and improve the Website.
• Meet our legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
• We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you without human involvement.

Under the NDPA, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Consent, for example when you voluntarily submit a job application or contact form, or agree to be considered for future roles.
• Performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to take steps you request before entering an employment contract.
• Legitimate interest, for example to secure the Website and evaluate candidates fairly, provided this does not override your fundamental rights.
• Legal obligation, where we must retain or disclose data to comply with Nigerian law or a lawful request from the NDPC or another authority.

Because the Careers page invites applications, we want to be specific about how that data is handled:

• Applications and CVs are reviewed by DNIL's HR and recruitment team and the relevant hiring manager or managers for the role.
• We use your application only to assess your suitability for the role or roles you apply for, and, if you consent, other current or future vacancies at DNIL.
• If your application is unsuccessful, we keep your data for 12 months in case a suitable role comes up, after which it is deleted or anonymised, unless you ask us to remove it sooner.
• If you are hired, information collected during recruitment becomes part of your employment record and is governed from that point by DNIL's internal HR policies rather than this Website Privacy Policy.
• You may withdraw your application or ask us to delete your application data at any time by emailing careers@dnilsolutions.com.

A job application is written directly into Odoo, a third party recruitment and business system operated outside this website. Your name, email address, phone number and LinkedIn profile are stored there as an applicant record, linked to the role you applied for.

Your CV is uploaded to the same system as a file attached to that applicant record.

This transfer happens at the moment you submit the form. The website does not keep its own copy of your application, and does not store it in a database of its own.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

• Employees and hiring managers within DNIL who need it to respond to your enquiry or evaluate your application.
• Service providers who support our operations, for example website hosting and infrastructure, email, and analytics providers, under obligations to protect your data and use it only as we instruct.
• Professional advisers and regulators, where necessary for legal, audit, or compliance purposes.
• A successor organisation, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring of DNIL, subject to the same protections described here.
• Any other party, only with your explicit consent or where disclosure is required by law.

Odoo is a third party processor of job application data. Application data, including your CV, is held in a DNIL-operated Odoo instance rather than on this website.

The contact form does not use Odoo. No other third party receives data from either form.

Some service providers we rely on, for example website hosting and infrastructure, may store or process data on servers located outside Nigeria. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure such providers offer a level of protection consistent with the NDPA's cross-border transfer requirements, including through contractual safeguards.

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, taking into account:

• The purpose for which it was collected, for example responding to an enquiry or evaluating an application.
• Any legal, tax, or regulatory retention requirements.
• Whether you have withdrawn consent or requested deletion.

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Be informed about how your personal data is collected and used, which is the purpose of this Policy.
• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your data, where applicable.
• Restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interest.
